Ming Gua: your directions
Ming Gua, also called Life Gua, is used in the Eight Mansions tradition to describe personal directional associations. It is not the same as a property’s chart.
YOUR SPACE
Bring Your Space into the Picture
Your home and workspace aren't a neutral backdrop — Feng Shui treats them as part of the picture too. Wuxora shows your personal favorable directions, how the year and month's energy shifts around you, and what your own property's chart reveals — each with written interpretation, not just numbers to decode.

What is Feng Shui?
Feng Shui is a traditional Chinese practice concerned with places, directions and the people using them. Alongside BaZi and Date Selection, it brings attention to a different part of the picture: your environment. Wuxora provides personal-direction and Flying Star tools to help you examine that perspective, rather than treating your chart or a chosen date in isolation.
Four tools, four different questions
Flying Stars: changing time influences
Annual, monthly and daily nine-palace charts show the star distribution for a selected period. These time-based charts are not a personalised assessment of your home.
House Natal Chart: your property
Enter the building year and facing direction to generate a house chart. This is a different input and purpose from a personal Ming Gua or a general time-based chart.
Wuxora 24 Mountains Compass: a directional reading
Most smartphones already have what you need. The Wuxora 24 Mountains Compass turns your phone into a live facing-direction reading—not the building year, the quality of a room, or the complete Feng Shui of a property.
SEE IT IN ACTION

Each chart comes with a written interpretation of what's active that period — not just a grid of numbers to read on your own.

UNDERSTAND EACH SECTOR
Select any sector for a full explanation
Click any palace in the chart and Wuxora explains what's actually there — the ruling star, the palace's own element, whether their relationship is favorable, and what it suggests for that period. Classical interpretation, not just numbers to decode.
YOUR PERSONAL DIRECTIONS
Your Ming Gua, and where it points
Your Ming Gua (Life Gua) sets four favorable and four unfavorable directions, calculated from your birth year and gender — the same Eight Mansions method used throughout Wuxora's Feng Shui tools.
MEASURE IT YOURSELF
The Wuxora 24 Mountains Compass, live in your hand
Most smartphones already have what's needed. Point your phone and the Wuxora 24 Mountains Compass reads your facing direction live, down to the exact mountain — no separate equipment required.
How Wuxora approaches Feng Shui
BaZi, Date Selection and Feng Shui bring personal, timing and environmental perspectives to different questions. Wuxora keeps their tools distinct while bringing them into one platform. Within Feng Shui, you can examine personal directions, time-based Flying Stars and a House Natal Chart without confusing one for another. A complete property assessment also considers the surroundings, layout and actual use of the space.
These tools present traditional Feng Shui frameworks, not guarantees of health, wealth or other outcomes. Master Wu does not currently provide Feng Shui guidance.

Common questions
Is my Ming Gua the same as my house’s chart?
No. Ming Gua is personal. A House Natal Chart uses the building year and the property’s facing direction. They describe different parts of the traditional framework.
How do annual and monthly Flying Stars differ?
They describe different time periods. Wuxora uses solar-calendar boundaries, so a monthly chart does not necessarily run from the first to the last day of a Gregorian month. Check the displayed period.
What information do I need for a House Natal Chart?
The tool asks for the building year and a facing bearing in degrees. An uncertain facing direction or building year can change the result; a generated chart alone is not a complete property assessment.
Will the compass work on my phone?
It needs a compatible device and browser with orientation-sensor access; you may need to grant permission. A desktop without the relevant sensor cannot supply a live bearing. Nearby metal and electronics can affect readings.
