Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Wuxora, including free features, paid subscriptions and credit purchases.

By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data, and our Disclaimer contains important information about the nature and limitations of Wuxora's content. Continued use after we update these Terms (see Section 15) means you accept the revised version.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Wuxora.

Wuxora is a digital platform for exploring BaZi (Chinese Four Pillars) astrology and related Chinese metaphysics practices. Its features may include:

• BaZi chart generation and interpretive readings — Four Pillars, Five Elements, Ten Gods, Luck Cycles, Life Areas, and related content from birth details you provide;
• Wuxora Learn — a guided, lesson-based course ("Applied BaZi") that helps you interpret concepts using your own chart;
• Date Selection — almanac-based date-suitability information and personalised date recommendations; and
• Master Wu — a conversational, AI-generated feature (see Section 10 and our Disclaimer).

Wuxora offers a free tier and may offer paid subscriptions, credit packs and other optional features. The features, prices and usage limits applicable to a purchase are displayed before checkout.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create a Wuxora account.

You are responsible for:

• providing accurate account information;
• keeping your login credentials confidential; and
• activity conducted through your account.

Contact support@wuxora.com promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

If you enter another person's birth details, you confirm that you have the appropriate right or permission to provide and use that information.

Wuxora Plus is a recurring subscription billed in advance according to the monthly or annual billing period displayed at checkout. Unless stated otherwise:

• your subscription renews automatically until cancelled;
• you may cancel through your account settings;
• cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period; and
• you retain Wuxora Plus access until that billing period ends.

Prices, applicable taxes, billing currency and subscription duration are displayed before purchase.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Wuxora does not store your complete payment-card details.

Except where required by law (see Section 8) or where we have made a billing error, fees for a billing period that has already started are not refundable. This does not restrict your withdrawal rights or statutory consumer rights.

We may change subscription prices for future renewal periods.

If a price change affects an existing subscriber, we will provide advance notice before the next renewal at the new price. You may cancel the subscription before that renewal takes place.

A price change will not apply retroactively to a billing period that has already been paid.

A Wuxora Plus subscription may include a recurring Master Wu credit allowance. The applicable allowance is displayed on the pricing or purchase page. Unless stated otherwise:

• unused monthly subscription credits do not roll over;
• purchased credit packs and referral credits do not expire;
• credits have no cash value;
• credits cannot be transferred or exchanged for money; and
• subscription credits are used before referral or purchased credits.

Purchased credits are separate from monthly subscription credits and remain available after cancellation of Wuxora Plus, unless they were refunded, charged back, obtained fraudulently or removed as required by law. Purchased credit packs are a digital product delivered immediately on purchase; by completing that purchase you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge the loss of withdrawal right described in Section 8.

Wuxora may offer referral credits under conditions displayed within the service. The referral program is available to Wuxora Plus subscribers only.

When a referred person purchases an eligible Wuxora Plus subscription, they receive their referral credit. You, as the referring user, receive yours only if you are still an active Wuxora Plus subscriber at that time.

Referral credits may be subject to monthly limits. We may withhold or remove credits connected with fraud, abuse, self-referral, cancelled purchases, refunds or chargebacks.

Referral programs may be modified or discontinued for future referrals. Credits already validly earned will remain available unless these Terms provide otherwise.

If you are an EU or EEA consumer, you generally have the right to withdraw from your Wuxora Plus subscription within 14 days after the contract is concluded, without giving a reason.

If you expressly request that Wuxora Plus begin during the withdrawal period, we will provide access immediately. If you subsequently withdraw within the 14-day period, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the service provided up to the time you inform us of your withdrawal, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

When you withdraw:

• your Wuxora Plus access will end;
• unused subscription credits associated with that subscription may be removed; and
• any refund due will be returned using the original payment method within the period required by law.

To exercise your withdrawal right, contact support@wuxora.com with a clear statement before the 14-day period expires. You are not required to use a particular form; the optional statutory model withdrawal form is available on request.

Nothing in this section limits rights provided by mandatory consumer law.

BaZi and Chinese metaphysics are traditional cultural practices. Wuxora provides related content for self-reflection, learning and entertainment.

Wuxora does not provide medical, mental-health, financial, investment, legal or other licensed professional advice.

Interpretations, readings and date recommendations are not guarantees of future events or outcomes. Do not use Wuxora as the sole basis for an important personal, medical, financial or legal decision.

Master Wu is an AI-generated feature, using third-party large language models (currently including models provided by Alibaba Cloud and Google). Its responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistent or incorrectly phrased with confidence.

Master Wu does not guarantee an authoritative or verified interpretation of classical BaZi methodology.

Third-party AI services may process your messages and relevant chart information to generate responses, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Wuxora identifies Master Wu as an AI feature within the service.

You remain responsible for evaluating Master Wu's responses and deciding whether or how to act on them.

You must not:

• use Wuxora unlawfully or to harm another person;
• access another person's account without permission;
• interfere with the operation or security of the service;
• introduce malicious code or attempt unauthorised access;
• systematically scrape or extract Wuxora content, datasets or methodology;
• reverse-engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• bypass usage limits or credit systems; or
• submit content that is unlawful, infringing or that you have no right to provide.

Wuxora's software, design, branding, written content and original interpretive material belong to us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use Wuxora for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Information you submit remains yours. You grant us the limited rights necessary to host, process and display that information for the purpose of operating and providing Wuxora, subject to our Privacy Policy.

Wuxora relies on external providers for functions such as hosting, authentication, payment processing and AI-generated responses.

Temporary interruptions, maintenance, technical failures or provider outages may affect availability. We will use reasonable care in providing Wuxora and addressing service disruptions.

This section does not exclude responsibility that Wuxora has under mandatory consumer law.

We may modify Wuxora for valid reasons, including:

• maintaining security or legal compliance;
• correcting errors;
• improving functionality;
• maintaining technical compatibility;
• responding to changes in external providers or technology; or
• adapting the service to operational requirements.

Changes will not create an additional charge without your agreement.

If a change materially and negatively affects your access to or use of a continuing paid service, we will provide advance notice in a durable form and any termination or refund rights required by law.

We may update these Terms when reasonably necessary because of changes to Wuxora, applicable law, security requirements or our business operations.

We will notify you in advance of material changes by email or through the service.

Changes affecting an existing paid subscription will apply only as permitted by law. Where required, you will be allowed to cancel or terminate the affected service before the change takes effect.

You may stop using Wuxora, cancel a subscription or delete your account through the available account controls.

We may temporarily restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to investigate:

• security concerns;
• suspected fraud or unlawful activity;
• misuse of credits or referrals; or
• a material breach of these Terms.

Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.

We may terminate an account for a material or repeated breach. If we discontinue a paid service for reasons unrelated to your breach, we will provide any refund or alternative required by law. On termination, your right to use the service ends; Sections 12, 18 and 19 survive.

Account deletion and the retention of legally required records are explained in our Privacy Policy.

EU and EEA consumers have mandatory rights concerning the conformity of digital content and digital services. These rights remain unaffected by these Terms.

If Wuxora fails to conform to the contract, you may be entitled to have the problem corrected, receive an appropriate price reduction, or terminate the contract, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

Wuxora is responsible for loss caused by us where and to the extent required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, fraud or mandatory consumer rights.

Wuxora does not guarantee that any interpretation, reading, AI-generated response or date recommendation will produce a particular result.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the service, except where the claim arises from our own negligence or breach.

These Terms are governed by Austrian law.

If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections provided by the law of your country of residence.

Courts will have jurisdiction according to applicable consumer-protection and jurisdiction rules. We do not currently participate in a voluntary alternative dispute-resolution procedure unless required by law.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect, and the unenforceable part will be replaced with a valid provision that best matches its original intent.

Wuxora is operated by Poh Ling Kang, Einzelunternehmerin in Salzburg, Austria.

These Terms are provided in English and Chinese for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the two versions, the English version shall prevail.
